Notifications about important things happening on your Client Portal in SuperOkay are broadcasted over Channels.

Where are notifications delivered?

Quick Guide on how Notifications work in SuperOkay

The Channels available today are:

  1. Inbox

    1. Your Inbox tab on the main app navigation. Here you'll see all new activity that was not performed by yourself. Eg.: if you upload files to the Shared folder, you won't see a notification about them here.

    2. The Activity tab on any project shows filtered notifications that apply just to that project

    3. The Activity tab on a Folder, Doc, or File shows filtered notifications that apply just to that document

  2. Project Timeline

    1. These are notifications your clients will also see as part of the Timeline module.

    2. They include all events that would otherwise also generate an email notification and should be visible to the client.

  3. Email

    1. For some events, we also send out an email notification either to your team, or to your client contacts.

What are the actions that trigger a notification?

❓Frequently Asked Questions:

Quick Guide on how Notifications work in SuperOkay

Why am I not seeing some notifications in the Inbox tab?

Notifications on actions you performed are not displayed in the Inbox tab. Otherwise, it would become quite noisy with notifications about stuff your jus did

Why do my clients get emails every time I add docs or files to the Shared folder?

The 🌍 Shared folder is your common space with your clients. Whenever something gets added there, it's assumed it is meant to be seen by everybody.

If you have work in progress docs & files, we would suggest working on them in a folder outside the 🌍 Shared folder, and moving them to Shared once you're ready for your client to see them.
